可萊的文法真的超級糟糕......

今天可萊收集了一些簡單的句子，想跟大家分享句子裡面的必考小玄機!!!!!
1. Our teacher suggested we collect more background information about this writer.
【翻譯】老師建議我們收集更多關於這位作家的背景資料。
【文法】(1)education background 教育背景；學歷
(2)suggest sb.+VR. 建議(人)做(事)
2. She doesn't like the course of biology at all snd always dozes off the biology class.
【翻譯】她一點也不喜歡生物課 ，經常在課堂上打瞌睡。
【文法】(1)doze off 打瞌睡
(2)not at all 一點也不
3. The woman failed to stand up with the blow to her heart and fell sick then.
【翻譯】那名女子無法承受心靈上的打擊而病倒了。
【文法】(1)blow (n.)打擊；吹；毆打
(2)fail to +VR 表示『無法做到某事』
(3)stand up with 表示『承受』
4. The professor asked her to make a brief introduction of her essay.
【翻譯】教授要求她對自己的論文作一個簡單的介紹。
【文法】(1) ask sb. to+VR. 表示『要求(人)做(事)』
(2) brief (n.)摘要、簡報 / (a.)簡潔的；短暫的；草率的
5. She has contributed her youth to the lofty education cause.
【翻譯】她把自己的青春貢獻給崇高的教育事業。
【文法】(1)cause (n.)原因；動機；事業/(v.)導致；引起
(2)have/has +Vpp. 表示到現在為止已經發生或完成的動作，為『現在完成式』
6.He cherished the chance for promotion very mich, which can be seen from his performance.
【翻譯】他非常珍惜這次升職的機會，這可以從他的業績中看出來。
【文法】(1)chance (n.)機會；運氣；僥倖 / (v.)碰巧；偶然發生
(2) for pormotion 為『介係詞片語』，用於修飾前面的 the chance
(3)which所引導的子句用來補充說明主要子句 He cherished the chance for promotion very mich。
7. She is just a nameless clerk working at the bank.
【翻譯】她只是一名在銀行工作的無名職員。
【文法】原句為She is just a nameless clerk who works at the bank，此句省略關係代名詞who，故其後動詞改為V-ing。
8. Every contributor to this charity event will be given a souvenir.
【翻譯】此次慈善活動的每位貢獻者都將得到一個紀念品。
【文法】(1)句中使用了一般未來式的被動語態will be done，主詞則是every contributor to this charity event。
(2)contributor (n.)投稿人、投稿者、貢獻者
9.This town has a fine crop of soybean this year.
【翻譯】該城鎮今年的大豆收成不錯。
【文法】(1)crop (n.)產量；農作物/(v.)種植、收割
(2)句中主詞為this town 動詞為has 受詞是a fine crop of soybean ；其中of soybean 是用來補充說明crop 。
10.The litte baby was crawling on the floor when his mom opened the door.
【翻譯】當媽媽打開門的時候，那名小寶寶正在地板上爬著。
【文法】(1)crawl (v.)爬；巴結/(n.)跳舞；緩慢爬行
(2)was crawling為過去進行式的用法，表示在過去『媽媽打開門』的時刻，主詞『the litte baby』正在進行動作。
過去式句型中，先發生的動作用過去進行式；後發生的用過去簡單式。
